One-Handed Firearms

Alchemist Fire-Cannon: Based off the Alchemist Fire Launcher, this is a handheld gun design to shoot canisters of Alchemist fire at enemies, shattering with impact dealing both piercing damage(1d6 Small, 1d8 medium), and Alchemist Fire damage. On a direct hit, every round deals an extra 1d6 damage until extinguished like a vial of Alchemist fire (See page 160 PCR). Means of fire detracts from the original grenade like properties of Alchemist fire removing the additional 1 point of damage to surrounding creatures of a 10 ft. area of impact.

  • Alchemist Fire Canisters: Similar to the original Alchemist fire vials except the metal cap on the end which it’s loaded to protect the glass from breaking when fired. In addition, the glass of the vial is twice as thick to protect the vial from shattering from the force of firing.
    These Canisters are bought in casings of three vial’s per.

Lancer: A finely crafted Masterwork Pistol hybrid, a little big for its size. This firearm fires slugs instead of bullets, and uses casings for the slugs to store gunpowder, like the modern day bullet. The Lancer is equipped with a revolving slug chamber which holds 3 shots which takes a standard action to reload. Its design, resembling the Rail Lancer causes it to be a little on the big side, resulting in its length to reach a foot in length and weighing in at 6 pounds. Designed by the master gunsmith Treia Alister and always crafted to masterwork quality.

  • Lancer Slugs: Solid metal slugs about the size of the modern day shotgun shell with rounded tips. These slugs come in casings packed with gunpowder and water sealed similar to the modern day bullet. Lancers slugs are sold in silk sacks in quantities of 20.

Twin Lancer: A double barreled version of the Lancer, barrels lined up vertically. Equipped instead with a 6 slug chamber which takes a full round action to reload. Shooting the second barrel can be done at the same time as shooting the first which uses the same attack bonus of. Doing so incurs a -4 to the second barrel’s attack roll. The wielder can shoot the second barrel as a second attack if she has one, using her second attack bonus incurring no penalties.

Two-Handed Firearms

Rail Lancer: A very large masterwork rifle hybrid. This firearm fires slugs instead of bullets, and uses casings for the slugs to store gunpowder, like the modern day bullet. The Rail lancer is equipped with a revolving slug chamber which holds 8 shots (Takes a full round action to reload). The Rail lancer usually spans 5-6 feet in length and weighs over 20 pounds.
Unlike other two-handed firearms, you must set up and brace with the Rail Lancer or be Prone while firing, or else firing it imparts a –4 penalty on attack rolls and the recoil knocks the wielder prone. A Large or larger creature can fire a Rail Lancer one size smaller than it is without its mounting as a normal two-handed weapon and without the danger of being knocked prone, but takes the normal penalty for firing an inappropriately sized weapon.   • Rail Lancer Slugs: solid metal slugs about twice the size of the normal Lacers’ Slugs with rounded tips. These slugs come in casings just like the normal Lancer Slugs. Lancers slugs are sold in silk sacks in quantities of 10.
    Cost: 42gp. Quantity: 10.
  • Collapsible: An additional mechanism installed at the base of the barrel allowing the barrel to collapse over the bulk of the gun allowing for more compact and mobile transportation (Halves length of weapon).
    Cost: +250gp. Range: -25ft. Weight: +4 lbs.

Twin Rail: A double barreled version of the Rail Lancer, barrels lined up vertically. Equipped with all the normal additions of the Rail Lancer except it baring a larger revolving slug chamber holding 12 slugs which takes a full round action and a standard to reload. Shooting the second barrel can be done at the same time as shooting the first which uses the same attack bonus. Doing so incurs a -4 to the second barrel’s attack roll. The wielder can shoot the second barrel as a second attack if she has one, using her second attack bonus incurring no penalties.

Alchemist Fire Launcher: The Original base of the Alchemist Fire-Cannon, the Alchemist fire Launcher is a Rife or Rail Lancer attachment that allows the wielder to make an attack propelling Alchemist fire canisters at her opponent. When doing so, acts exactly like the Fire-cannon but with decreased range.

Animal Theme: An optional attachment to decal and decorate the attached firearm with the characters desired animal choice. Doing so allows the character to add specific details to the firearm such as dragon headed barrels or spider leg stands. Note: this does not add any other unlisted attachments but can be applied to already existing attachments on the firearm.
Cost: +75gp. Weight: +2 lbs.

Custom Theme: Like the Animal theme, this theme allows the character to making the firearm look however the character pleases along the lines of ethnic craft, like dwarven craft or elven craft. Note: this does not add any other unlisted attachments but can be applied to already existing attachments on the firearm.
Cost: +100gp. Weight: +4 lbs.

Grappling Hook Launcher: An attachment which modifies the barrel of the firearm allowing it to shoot grappling hooks tethered to ropes. To determine a use rope skill, add instead of your ability modifier, your base attack bonus. Only applicable to Rifles or Rail Lancers. Range is determined by length of rope attached to the grappling hook. In the case of the rope’s length is greater then half of the weapons range increment the maximum range is half of the weapon used.

Lancer Bayonet: A bayonet fashioned similar to an axe blade which attaches to the bottom end of the Lancer Barrel. Unlike most bayonets which can only be use as a piercing weapon, this can only be used as a slashing weapon.

Precision Spyglass Scope: A spyglass specifically crafted for the purpose of making precise shots with a firearm. The Precision spyglass scope is equipped with special sights which add a +1 competence bonus on attack rolls when using it on the attached firearm. Like the Spyglass Scope, the range increment of the attached firearm is doubled.

Rail Lancer Bayonet: A glaive like bayonet designed for slashing or piercing in melee combat. The bayonet attaches at the bottom end of the Rail Lancers barrel.
Cost: +6gp. Damage: 1d6(S), 1d8(M). Crit: x2. Weight: +6 lb. Type: Slashing or Piercing.

Rail Lancer Tether Strap: A custom made strap to carry the Rail Lancer on the characters back. Although, unlike most straps, the Tether strap has a spring loaded latch buckle that allows for convenience and easy un-donning of the Rail Lancer.
Cost: +25gp. Weight: +2 lbs.

Rifle Scope: A standard scope attachment which increases the attached firearm’s range increment by half.
Cost: +250gp. Range: x1.5 Weight: +1 lb.

Speed Loader Lancer Canister: More like an accessory then an attachment, the Speed Loader Lancer Canister allows for fast reloading. This 3-6 chambered canister holds pre-loaded slugs and can be placed into the Lancer’s empty chambers to quickly reload it. Doing so shortens the standard Lancer’s reload time to a partial action and the Twin Lancer’s to a standard action. This attachment doesn’t stack with the Rapid Reload feat. Reloading the Speed Loader canister takes as long as it would normally for the weapon intended for the speed loader to reload.

Speed Loader Rail Lancer Canister: Like the Speed Loader Lancer Canister, the Speed Loader Rail Lancer Canister allows for fast reloading. Unlike the Lancer, the Rail Lancer Canister boasts 6-12 chambers of pre-loaded slugs and can be placed into the Rail Lancers empty chambers to quickly reload it. Doing so shortens the standard Rail Lancer’s reload time to a Standard action and the Twin Rail’s to a Full Round action. This attachment doesn’t stack with the Rapid Reload feat. Reloading the Speed Loader canister takes as long as it would normally for the weapon intended for the speed loader to reload.

Spyglass Scope: A Spyglass fashioned into a scope, this attachment doubles the range increment of the attached weapon.

EQUIPMENT

Alchemist Fire Satchel: A sturdy satchel which holds and effectively protects alchemist fire vials and canisters alike. In the case of a vial breaking, the lining of the satchel is made from a fire retardant weave.

Lancer and Rail Lancer Repair Kit: A repair kit for the Lancer and Rail Lancer packed with tools to effectively repair both and maintain an upkeep of quality of both. When making a craft check to repair either, the user gains a +2 competence bonus to checks. These kits can be bought in higher quality, the price increasing by 75 gp per increment. Example: A +3 Lancer and Rail Lancer Repair Kit would cost 525 gp

Lancer Holster: A fashionable holster for the Lancer, allowing for easy drawing.

Lancer Slug Belt: A heavy leather belt which slings across the wearers chest baring 20 slots for Lancer slugs. Allowing for quick access to slugs, retrieving a slug as a swift action.

Rail Lancer Slug Belt: A heavy leather belt which slings across the wearers chest baring 10 slots for Lancer slugs. Allowing for quick access to slugs, retrieving a slug as a swift action.
