The Lucis

Little is known of the origin’s of the Lucis, or the actual birth or creation of a Lucis. The only definitive information the origin of Lucis is on how they all recall their first memories and moments of their life. Nearly all accounts describe a rush of emotions, some in crushing confinement in shallow earth, or submerged underwater in a lake. Other’s account more graphic experience’s, and emerging for corpses, or other filth. All recollections from the Lucis say that they had no memory on how they came to find themselves where they were, or who the are.
All Lucis are seem to pop into existence at random as fully grown adults with complete comprehension of language, basic education, and a predisposition holy magics.

Physical Description: The physical characteristics of Lucis are identical to humans in nearly every single way, including the variety of skin color, hair color, and physical features that humans typically posses. The only feature and most prominent that Lucis stand out from humans are their brightly lit and glowing eyes that shine in a misty yet fiery way, enough to obscure any pupil’s or any other feature’s of their eyes. The glow come in a short range of color’s; Blue, Yellow, and White.

Society: The very existence of a Lucis is rare, which alienates them from interaction with any other Lucis. In result, Lucis have no structure of society of their own, rather Lucis’ often integrate into human societies, or societies that they find themselves closest to upon their sudden birth.

Relations: Due to their often benevolent nature, the Lucis have positive relations with race’s who appreciate their services and kind nature. Lucis often serve these societies to the best of their ability, usually with selflessness and with the might of their divine gifts.

Alignment and Religion: Usually seeking out their origin’s in faith, the Lucis find themselves in chapel’s and temples of numerous deities and religions. With an inborn disposition to the light, many live their lives selflessly, or down the path of righteousness, often aligned as good, or lawful.

Adventures: Through searching for their origins, or perhaps the extent of their inlaid powers, Lucis seek out adventure’s for many reasons. Whether it be a divine crusade for their patron church they have aligned themselves to, or to seek out evil, or perhaps other Lucis, the Lucis have nearly endless reason’s to travel the world and seek glory.

Names: Lucis take up name’s from the societies they attach themselves to, and often are given names to those who find them or on occasion even name themselves. Due to this, Lucis have no limit to any variety of names they can posses.

Lucis are born as able adults approximately 20 years in age, and have an uncanny affinity to picking up new skills once they start to walk the earth. Because of so, Lucis often find themselves in a roll within a short period of time.
Barbarian, Rogue, and Sorcerer adds +1 years to their starting adulthood age.
Bard, Fighter, Myrmidon, Paladin, and Ranger adds +1d3 years to their starting adulthood age.
Cleric, Druid, Hyper, Martial Fist, Monk, and Wizard adds +1d4 years to their starting adulthood age.

A Lucis does not physically age, and does not take penalties to their physical ability scores as the age. Their maximum age are as follows.
45 years: Middle age. At middle age, +1 to Int, Wis, and Cha.
65 years: Old age. At old age, +1 to Int, Wis, and Cha.
90 years: Vulnerable. At venerable age, +1 to Int, Wis, and Cha.
110 + 3d20 years: Maximum age.

Height and Weight
To determine a Lucis’ height, roll the modifier dice indicated below and add the result, in inches, to the base height for your character’s race and gender. To determine a Lucis’ weight, multiply the result of the modifier dice by the weight multiplier and add the result to the base weight for your character’s race and gender.
Lucis Males
Base Height:4 ft. 10 in. Base Weight:120 lbs. Modifier:2d10. Weight Multiplier:x 5 lbs.

Lucis Females
Base Height:4 ft. 5 in. Base Weight:85 lbs. Modifier:2d10. Weight Multiplier:x 5 lbs

+2 Constitution, +2 Intelligence, +4 Charisma: Lucis Are strong in their stature, strikingly quick to learn new skills, and incredibly charismatic and humble.
Medium: Lucis are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Normal Speed: Lucis have a base speed of 30 feet.
See in Darkness: Lucis can see perfectly in darkness of any kind, including that created by spells such as deeper darkness.
Celestial Resistance: Lucis gain acid resistance 5, cold resistance 5, and electricity resistance 5.
Eternal Hope: Lucis gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against fear and despair effects. Also, once per day, after a natural roll of 1 on a d20 roll, members of this race may reroll and use the second result.
Exalted Resistance: Lucis gain spell resistance equal to 6 + their character level against spells and spell-like abilities with the evil descriptor, as well as any spells and spell-like abilities cast by evil outsiders.
Lightbringer: Lucis are immune to light-based blindness and dazzle effects, and are treated as one level higher when determining the effects of any light-based spells or effects they cast (including spell-like and supernatural abilities). If a member of this race has an Intelligence of 10 or higher, it may use light at will as a spell-like ability
Celestial Crusader: Lucis gain a +1 insight bonus on attack rolls and to AC against evil outsiders and a +2 racial bonus to identify evil outsiders or items or effects evil outsiders create with Knowledge (planes) or Spellcraft; they may use these skills untrained for this purpose.
Languages: Lucis are gifted with the inherent ability to comprehend all languages at all times, and do not select any languages.
Favored Class and Level Adjustment: The Lucis can choose any class as their favored class. Due to their strengths, the Lucis have a +2 CR Adjustment.
